Polyroof System Rejuvenates Aged Asphalt Roof

Polyroof’s Elastex system has been used to waterproof a large press house roof in Fullerton for a utilities company. The aged asphalt was in a poor condition, and due to the large amounts of expensive machinery within the building urgent work was required to repair the leaking roof.

Having previously specified Polyroof waterproofing systems in other projects, the client was aware of the benefits of our Elastex overlay system. With no stripping of the existing roof required, Elastex is a practical and time-saving solution that can be applied directly to the asphalt after the surface has been suitably repaired.

Once installed the tough and flexible membrane provides a resilient long lasting barrier to water penetration and UV degradation. For peace of mind, the system is fully guaranteed for up to 25 years and is approved by the British Board of Agrément (BBA).
