Polyroof continue to barrel along

The concrete barrelled roof of this renovated apartment block required a liquid applied system that would flow across the complex profile and rolling roof contours without any unsightly joints.

It was also important that insulation was added to create a warm roof. The client, a leading UK homebuilder, chose the BBA approved Polyroof 185 GRP system in a sandwich construction, encapsulating the insulation between the concrete substrate and plywood sheets - onto which the seamless system was cold applied. Polyroof 185 was preferred over single ply systems because of its toughness and resistance to site neglect and abuse.
