Polyroof 185 in housing association roof refurbishment

A leading sheltered housing association specified a fully insulated Polyroof 185 GRP system for six flat roofs at one of their sites in the Manchester area.  The existing substrate consisted of multi-layered felt with numerous repairs that had been carried out over the years.  The old roofs were removed down to the joists and rebuilt in compliance with 'Part L' Building Regulations.

Polyroof 185 is BBA approved and the completed works come with an insurance backed 20-year guarantee. The total area treated amounted to over 1000m² and the contract was carried out by Polyroof approved contractor Herbert T. Forrest.
