Protec PolyFinish MMA

We’re pleased to announce the introduction of PolyFinish MMA, a tough impact resistant, flexible finishing coat that has been specially developed for full compatibility with our Protec overlay system. The finish is based on methyl methacrylate resins, distinguished by their high level of surface hardness. The incorporation of anti-slip quartz sand into the PolyFinish transforms Protec into one of the toughest balcony systems on the market.

Like the Protec system itself, PolyFinish is fast curing, which means that the whole operation can be completed in a day. This is often a critical requirement, especially for walkways, viewing platforms and flat roofs requiring regular access.

Fort William Fire Station uses PolyFinish MMA

PolyFinish MMA was used on the new Fort William Fire Station at the foot of Ben Nevis. Architects from the Highland Council specified a highly durable non-slip roofing surface that could withstand heavy foot traffic and fire fighting equipment. Principal contractors, UBC Group, have been very pleased with the results and have since specified Protec MMA for balconies on their new build developments.
