Unlike competitive membrane systems such as single ply, Polyroof overlay systems have the benefit of being ideally suited to waterproofing around complex roof protrusions such as air conditioning systems, PV cells, extraction systems and pipework. Being cold applied the system is especially favoured at manufacturing sites where strict health & safety procedures are enforced.

This picture shows a section of a very large flat roof at the factory of aerospace company Raytheon. Site damage by other trades is also less of a concern since Polyroof systems quickly cure to a tough, seamless and flexible waterproof membrane resistant to impacts and foot traffic.
