Lead and copper reproduction

Polyroof systems can be used to reproduce the appearance of lead and copper rolls or standing seams. The roll is formed using a pre-formed fibreglass trim. Various levels of reproduction colours and finishes are available to reproduce the look of lead or oxidised copper.

Compared to lead, Polyroof systems are easily and economically laid, are damage resistant and – since they have no scrap value - are not prone to vandalism.

The following systems are available

• Polyroof 185 is used in new build, re-roofing or overdecking applications as it is a complete system applied to a plywood base.
• Elastex is used where an existing substrate is being overlaid (including over existing lead).
