Flat Roof Coverings

The principal benefit of a liquid applied membrane over traditional flat roof coverings such as felt or single ply is that there are no joints. All Polyroof systems are glassfibre reinforced polymers that chemically fuse to the substrate and cure to form a tough, totally seamless and completely waterproof, flexible membrane that accommodates structural movement.

 

On construction sites there is less damage by other trades than you get with flat roof coverings because the glassfibre reinforced Polyroof membranes cure quickly to a tough, impact resistant surface. A good example is the apartment and office complex in the Channel Islands shown below. The toughness of Polyroof 185 glassfibre reinforced membrane is illustrated by the amount of heavy equipment loaded onto the roof shown below.
